Beh, a queste gare si partecipa come università, non come nazione. Quindi devi provare a sentire che aria tira nella tua sede!

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to notify you of the 10th Open Mathematical Olympiad of the Belarusian-Russian University (International Student Olympiad MathOpen 2019 Belarus) which is scheduled to be held at the Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev, Belarus) on February 20-22, 2019.

Teams of higher education institutions composed of not more than two participants (undergraduates or postgraduate students) and one supervisor are invited to take part in the Olympiad.

I would like to draw your attention to the following information:
– the Olympiad will be held as a competition with individual classification;
– winners (holders of gold, silver and bronze medals) of the Open Mathematical Olympiads of the Belarusian-Russian University held in the past years may be additionally included into the HEI team over the quota (two participants);
– the Olympiad is supposed to be held in one round in the form of testing (30 tasks in the form of tests to be fulfilled within 5 hours);
– the tasks will contain problems from the following areas of mathematics: algebra, theory of numbers, analysis (real or complex), analytical geometry, combinatorial analysis, ordinary differential equations.

Working languages of the Olympiad are English and Russian.

The registration fee for the participation in the Olympiad is 70 euros per team. Тravel expenses, meals and accommodation of non-resident participants and supervisors are paid by the institution sending them.

Detailed information on the 10th Open Mathematical Olympiad of the Belarusian-Russian University may be found in the letter of the Rector of the Belarusian-Russian University of October 17, 2018, № 8.6/5320 (please find attached).

Applications for the participation in the Olympiad shall to be submitted to the Organizing Committee before December 21, 2018 at the address mathopen@bru.by (the application form is attached). Additional e-mail address: mathopen2019@gmail.com

1st Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics Olympiad for Undergraduate Students

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to invite Pisa University to take part in the Al-Khorezmi International Mathematics Olympiad for Undergraduate Students that will be held in Khorezm, Uzbekistan, during October 26 – 31, 2018 year. The Olympiad will be organized once in two years. The first Olympiad is organized by the National University of Uzbekistan and the Urgench State University. It is hosted by the Urgench State University. Each participating team is supposed to be represented by 1 team leader, 1 deputy leader and 4 contestants. The participating parties should cover all travel costs themselves. Accommodation, meal, excursion and airport transfers between Urgench city and Urgench International Airport will be provided by the Organizing Committee.

The higher educational institution confirms its participation in the Olympiad by online registration on official website (akhimo.uz) attaching official letter indicating the composition of the team or sending an official letter to the e-mail address of Organizing Committee (akhimo2018@edu.uz) up to September 30th, 2018 year.
